Home Inspections - More
Info |
New
homes are not without their problems.
We have found heat systems incorrectly connected
and set up, columns misplaced, joists cracked
or with drill holes, poor grading, etc.
Most new homes are in good condition when sold,
but some have items that need further attention.
The
inspection is also an education for the buyer.
They learn how to operate systems, where main
and emergency shut off's are, maintenance items
and other pertinant information.

the major systems in the house. The inspection
includes the roof, exterior, water run off systems,

attic, insulation, kitchen and attached appliances.
Inspections are done in accordance with the
American Society of Home Inspectors 'Standards
Of Practice'.

Under Construction |
Houses
that are in the process of being built should
be inspected at certain intervals during the
process to assure proper construction techniques
and proper materials are being used. The
minimum times are the pre drywall and end stages.
The pre drywall inspection is done just before
the insulation and drywall are installed. This
is the time that structure, rough plumbing,
rough electrical, rough heat/cooling and general
construction quality can be checked. The
end, or completion, inspection checks for proper
operation of various systems, roofing, exterior
and water control. Other stages can be inspected
according to the owners desires.
