| Should
I get a Home Inspection? |
A
home is the most expensive purchase that you
are likely to make. You need to get as much
information as you can before you purchase the
home. The Home Inspection will give you information
about the general condition of the house and
the major systems.
|
| Should
I attend the Inspection? |
Absolutely,
everyone should if at all possible.
|
| May
I ask questions during the Home Inspection? |
Yes,
we ask that you look as hard as we do. The more
eyes
looking, the less chance that anything will
be missed. The inspection is also an education
for you. The location of major emergency shut
off switches, valves, and disconnects are pointed
out. General maintenance items are also reviewed
during the inspection.
|
| How
much time will the Home Inspection take? |
A
three bedroom house generally takes about 2
1/2 to 3 hours.
Be sure to allow for some extra time though.
|
| When
do I receive the report? |
We
provide the report at the end of the inspection.
|
| How
do I find a qualified Home Inspector? |
Always look for a home inspector affiliated with
The American
Society of Home Inspectors. There are rigorous
procedures to go through to become a member of
ASHI. These will usually be the most qualified
inspectors.
|
| Should
price be a major
factor
in choosing the Home Inspector? |
NO!
NO! NO! Qualifications and reputation
of the inspector
should giude your decision.
